Amicos Insurance Enterprises cc was established in 2001 and opened its doors for business in June 2001. Amicos specialises in the short term insurance industry and more specifically:

• Agricultural Insurance
• Religious Institutions Insurance

The word 'Amicos' derives from the Latin word which means 'friend'. It is thus on this basis that we conduct business and see our clients as friends, and not 'just another customer/client'.

2015 - Received the Santam Agricultural Award for East and South regions.

2014 - Received the Santam Gold Award for East Rand Brokers.

2004 - Received again the Santam Diamond Award for being the number one Santam broker in the East Rand.

2003 - Received the Santam Diamond Award for being the number one Santam broker in the East Rand.

2002 - Received the Santam Silver Award at Broker of the Year function.

During April 2004, Amicos Insurance Enterprises cc had developed to such an extent that it started serving as an 'umbrella body' for other brokerages and therefore took interested parties on board.

These brokerages, however, maintained their own identity, but nevertheless this resulted in a stronger entity which obviously has a stronger base and negotiation forum.

The purpose is to negotiate better packages for our clients and to offer such packages to new clients.

This results in specialist advice being utilised amongst the brokers associated with Amicos and therefore no risk is too big or too small for any of the brokers.
